Online meeting On September 15, around 10 partners from Greece, Romania and Belgium participated in the third transnational meeting of the YMI project to assess the project’s progress as well as to ensure its viability and success. The meeting, that was supposed to be hosted by project partner Autism Europe in Brussels, was held online via Zoom due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

After an introduction led by the hosting association, the main results of the pilot trials were presented, together with a detailed analysis of the activities undertaken by different project partners thorough 2020.

The trials have been carried out in two rounds, from April to May 2020, and on July 2020. From 30 Greek and Romanian professionals who participated on the trials, 20 provided with comments that allowed to improve the content and the functionality of the platform..

Apart from the pilot sessions, a “training the trainers” session was also organized in July 2020 with around 20 professionals and Train-ASD partners from Greece, Romania and Belgium. The meeting provides partners with some constructive feedback about the curriculum and the user-friendliness of the platform in order to reach a final version. Despite the session was originally planned to be a face-to-face, it was held online to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At this meeting, other different topics related to the official launch of the Train-ASD e-Learning platform were covered, as well as other aspect related to the management of the project, such as impact, dissemination, finances or risk management. The last Train-ASD international meeting will take place probably online by the end of 2020. The project foresees four meetings over its two-year lifespan.
